Thrice - “To Awake And Avenge The Dead”
This was taken on the last night of our tour. Which if you’ve been on the road with bands, the last night means tour pranks. For La Dispute, O’Brother, Moving Mountains and the Invisible Children camp; that meant “Occupy Thrice” onstage during our last song. There were couches, sleeping bags, pillows, cardboard signs, even a microwave on Ed’s cab; that someone pulled food out of haha. Watching this makes me miss every single person on our wonderfully amazing tour. Love all of you dearly, until next time gentlemen.
This past Sunday was the Thrice show at the Masquerade in Atlanta. Chelsea and I won an invite from Invisible Children Music to Thrice’s soundcheck meet-and-greet thingy.
I’m a big Thrice fan, no doubt. They’re one of my favorite bands, if not my favorite. It was awesome to meet them. Super nice peoples. I tend to lack basic social skills, though. Awkward.
