Last week, I kicked off a fundraiser for my upcoming Gardening, Not Architecture tour with Yards, which starts in a few weeks. For the fundraiser, I’m re-releasing my first two albums on CD and packaging them in handmade wooden engraved boxes, along with an 11x17 poster, a black and white print of a photo I took on tour, and two new G,NA buttons. I’ve also got shirts, zines, buttons and patches available!

Nearly 20 of the boxes have already been claimed, and my friend in Seattle who is making the boxes has begun production on them!

I’ve ordered all the contents for the boxes, and in a couple weeks I’ll start shipping them out! All the profits from the fundraiser will go towards paying for supplies, promo materials, equipment, lighting, and of course gas for this tour!

I don’t know much about Bob Mould or his previous band’s music (e.g. Hüsker Dü), but that will soon change.

His latest album “Silver Age” is really good. I’m horrible at describing music, but I’ll try… it’s energetic, driving, post punk-esque, fun rock music. Yeah, that’s the best I can do.

Watch the video and when you see how much fun he’s having, you’ll want to check out the album and rock out just as much.
